Sell your textbooks for more money

They have a big advantage being that they are on campus where the student goes every day that makes them easily accessible. At the end of the semesters, they also typically deploy tables around campus to buy back your books. A typical unknowing student goes up, gives them their books and they give them cash. It’s very simple and straightforward. What does the student care about these books? They are never going to use them again.
Students have no idea how much money they are losing by selling their textbooks back to the bookstore or to even those places that offer buyback services around your college. They give you nothing! NOTHING! Do you think that $15 for that book you had purchased for $120 is a good deal since you’re never going to use it again? Think again! Do me a favor. Pull out your old college textbooks albeit old or new. Turn it over and look at the number below the barcode. This is the ISBN number and it is what you are going to need to look it up on Amazon. Check out the lowest used price it is going for. I bet you if this is a textbook that you just used for class, people are selling the book on Amazon for at least 3-4x what the bookstore wants to give you for it. The reason that this is the case is because you are skipping the middle man, the bookstore. You are essentially giving it to the next student that has that class. That student is also getting a much better deal than buying it from their bookstore. It’s a win, win situation!
Selling your textbooks on the Internet or Amazon is particular is a very easy process. Do you notice the “Sell yours here” button next to your book on Amazon? All you have to do is click that to go through the process. Also, while you are on that page check out the sales rank. A sales rank in Amazon will give you a clue on how quickly your book will sell. It’s not a definite answer, but from my past experience selling thousands of books, if the rank is under 100,000, it WILL sell within a few days. It’s not guaranteed money like you get at the bookstore, but is as close to guaranteed as it gets. Do you think you are the only one in the world that has that class or needs that book? No way! There are millions of other college students or prospective college students out there that want that book too!
Do yourself a favor and take the money that you deserve. Don’t sell your book back to the bookstore anymore and collect the proper value of that book that cost you way too much to begin with!
